Lockdowns and solitude forced me to work with what I had: a good mobile phone, time, desolate surroundings to explore. My daily ritual became walking and looking carefully for a friendly presence, a message, a meaning. I keep collecting short videos, recording daily encounters with tiny metaphorical presences.
Curating is part of my practice, starting from my collections of videos. I consider my archive alive and always open to creative experiments and collaborations.
I explore the flow between things that may be considered "binary opposites" and how their combining may create new ways of seeing and feeling, especially around the dichotomy life/death. My obsession with death, pain and sacrifice is sweetened by self-irony and the study of nature's resilience and circularity.
